Only because everyone has been subjected to what everyone has been told is the natural and ONLY way to purchase a home, and also because no one has attempted to fix the issues that have caused this wheel to be broken. The answers are not your typical answers or what everyone says is an answer such as refinance, lower interest rates, reverse mortgage, V.A. loan, FHA, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, none of these are the answer, they ONLY look pretty on the outside, but complicate things on the inside.

So what does S.H.I.E.L.D. offer as Affordable Homeownership, and how does it work, it’s quite simple we remove usury and the middle man as follows:

Military:

Military families have priority over anyone else in purchasing a home through S.H.I.E.L.D. We can never repay any of our Military families for the sacrifices that they have made, however what we can do to begin showing our appreciation to them is do everything we can to take care of them, by doing so we can help ease the stress and pressure that's on their shoulders, and work towards completely eliminating it from their lives all together.

Women with Children and Domestic Violence Victims:

If you are a woman with children or a victim of domestic violence we offer a pathway to homeownership and financial freedom for you as well.

No Mortgage:

S.H.I.E.L.D. does not offer mortgages, you NEVER take out a loan with us. Since there is no loan there is no mortgage and no lender.

No Mortgage Insurance:

Since there is no mortgage, and no loan there is no requirement for mortgage or loan insurance.

No Homeowners Insurance:

Because we handle the purchase of the home, there is no requirement for homeowners insurance, we have you covered.

Emergency Credit Fund:

Within the S.H.I.E.L.D. of Faith Protection Plan is an emergency Credit fund, which is where each homeowner pays into it a small amount at a time for any instance that may occure that they need emergency funds.

No Down Payment:

We do not require a down payment, if you are able to get one without a loan that's fine, however you are not allowed to get a loan or any type of payment for your down payment that requires repayment.

No Home Inspection:

You do not need a home inspection as we handle that.

No Closing Costs:

Since there is no mortgage, or any type of loan there is no reason for closing costs.

Very Low TO No Interest Rates:

As you make your payments to S.H.I.E.L.D. for your home, depending on the situation, we charge either no interest (which is usually the case) or very low interest rates. Making it easier and more affordable for each of our homeowners to make their payments on their home.

Automatic Homeowners Protections:

S.H.I.E.L.D. offers their very own protections to new homeowners through our own program, so there's no need for homeowners insurance. (see S.H.I.E.L.D. of Faith Protection Plan)

No Foreclosure:

Since there is no type of loan on the property there is no foreclosure. But we are honest and open, if you don't use common sense, and be smart about making your payments, you can still lose your home, that only seems fair correct? However, it takes major stupidity to pave the way to loosing your home through S.H.I.E.L.D. (see Reclamation Process)

Utility Credit:

S.H.I.E.L.D. sets up each of our Homeowners with a credit towards every utility when they purchase the home, allowing each homeowner to stay ahead of their utilities.

Income Specific Payments:

A large part of what makes S.H.I.E.L.D.'s homes affordable besides eliminating usury is the fact that each homeowners monthly payment is income specific.

Credit/FICO Score Doesn't Matter:

We do run a credit report on each home buyer, however rather than using it to judge you, we use it to help determine how we can provide you with additional help.

No Income to Debt Ratio Required:

We do not require a certain income to debt requirement to purchase a home, we do check your income to debt ratio to determine if you may need additional assistance.

Past Evictions Don't Matter:

Since you were dealing with the old rental system and not our affordable homeownership system as long as you keep up with your customized payments, past evictions will not matter no matter how new or old. Providing you did not deliberately cause the eviction.

Past Foreclosures Don't Matter:

Once again since you were dealing with the old mortgage system, and not our affordable homeownership system as long as you keep up with your customized payments, past foreclosures will not matter no matter how new or old. Providing you did not deliberately cause the foreclosure.

No Income Requirements:

We have no income requirements, you don't have to make a certain amount to qualify for homeownership.

Life Management Coach:

As a homeowner with S.H.I.E.L.D you receive a Life Management Coach to guide you through life's ups and downs.

Life Debt Elimination:

We work with each homeowner to eliminate their life debt to allow them a fresh start and true financial freedom in their life.

Pay It Forward Monthly Payments:

Every monthly payment you make goes into the Pay It Forward Program which goes to help get other families into their affordable homeownership and financial free, which most would say is better than lining the pockets of lenders.

S.H.I.E.L.D. of Faith Protection Plan:

Normally homeowners are required to get homeowners insurance, however we eliminate the need for homeowners insurance by providing the S.H.I.E.L.D. of Faith Protection Plan. With this Protection Plan you are covered for problems that happen to your home that is not your fault. It's included in the purchase of your home.

Appliances:

Every home that S.H.I.E.L.D. does comes with full brand new appliances, from fridge, to washer and dryer.

Do You Need or Want to Move?:

If you ever need to move or even just want to move, no need to worry we will help find you a new place and take care of everything for you, from the renovation to helping you move.

No More Selling or Buying A Home:

So we determined you need to move or want to move, maybe your expecting a new addition to the family, maybe your starting a new job in a new area, maybe you need to move closer to family, no matter what the reason if you seriously need or want to move, we got you covered. We work with you to find a new place and once we do, we fully renovate it for you, and you move in. You don't sell your old home we recycle it to another family, we fully renovate your old home and it goes to a new family.

Transferring Your Payments:

So you have moved to your new home, now your starting over correct? NO! For the first time EVER your payments of what you already paid on your first home transfer to your new home! No matter how much you paid on your old home, it goes towards the new home, you only pay any additional that it took to renovate the new home over what your old home amount was and you pay any difference in cost over the amount of your old home. For example if you move from a two bedroom two bath, into a four bedroom two bath and the home cost $5,000 above what your old home was, you would pay the renovation costs, and the $5,000 in addition to the price of the home. That's it! If there's no difference above the cost, your amount stays the same. If you paid $12,00.00 on your old home that amount comes off of the full price of your new home!

Our Homes:

We purchase vacant often blighted homes in different neighborhoods, perform a full renovation on them, making them the same as a new home construction or better. Simply put we recycle homes that already exist, removing blight from communities and restoring hope and faith in the community.

Recycling:

First we recycle vacant usually blighted homes, by renovating them to brand new condition, furthermore each home is gutted to its core, and absolutely anything inside or outside that can be reused or recycled is.

Community Service:

As we renovate the vacant blighted homes, we also go into neighborhoods and find our neighbors in the community that may need assistance with their homes, properties or even a blighted park. We work to renovate the community while we renovate the vacant home.

New Construction:

In a rare instance we maybe required to build a new home from the ground up, we do not prefer to do this as there are plenty of vacant homes that need renovation and owners, but if circumstances require it we may consider it.

City, County, and State Income:

As we purchase and renovate these homes, we bring in revenue to the Cities, Counties, and States in the form of permits, inspections, licenses, and taxes.

Transitional Housing:

S.H.I.E.L.D. often purchases commercial use buildings such as vacant hotels, and renovates them , we also will purchase multi family homes, or mobile homes, and renovates these as well to transform them into transitional housing. We use our transitional housing to temporarily house individuals or families that may have been displaced due to unforeseen circumstances. Anyone placed in our transitional housing make monthly payments, and these payments go toward their eventual permanent home.

Transforming Lives:

We work hard to perform the work of our Heavenly Father, working to get His children out of usury, debt, and transforming their lives into a life of freedom and opening the doors to faith, and allowing each person to have the ability to serve Him free of obstacles that would hinder them in their daily lives. We NEVER force any religion on anyone, but as people see the works and love of our Heavenly Father through our physical works, and the blessings that we help Him bestow upon them we are open to discussion about our Heavenly Father.

Employment:

S.H.I.E.L.D. is always growing, and the more we purchase homes, and renovate them, as we renovate neighborhoods, and communities, we create jobs, we look to hire within the areas we are working, and in doing so we are creating jobs from coast to coast.

Reclamation Process:

So we established there is no foreclosure, however is there a way you as a homeowner can lose your home through S.H.I.E.L.D. the answer is honestly yes. However if you fall behind on payments, and it's not your fault, or it's due to something beyond your control, S.H.I.E.L.D. usually can work with you, to get you back on track, sometimes even if it was your fault due to a mistake you made or whatever the situation maybe. The biggest thing that you need to do is contact S.H.I.E.L.D. as soon as you know there maybe a situation arise, so we can make arrangements to help you.

Failure to try and work with us, will lead to Reclamation Process where we will reclaim the home, and you will be permanently banned from purchasing a home from S.H.I.E.L.D., but we do everything on our end to prevent this from happening.

Are You Already Buying A Home:

If you are already in the process of purchasing a home, or you already are buying a home as in making payments, no matter if it's your first month, or you have lived there for 20 years, you can still qualify for an affordable homeownership through S.H.I.E.L.D. You just need to understand there are different ways to get you into a home through S.H.I.E.L.D. when possible we try to keep you where you are, however this may not be feasible all the time depending on countless different reasons, if this the case if you want to purchase a home, you may need to be prepared to move to a different home, if we can work to keep you in your current home, you would be required to move out temporarily while your home is completely renovated.

Are You In An HOA:

If you live in an HOA (homeowners association) you will be required to move, HOA's are considered their own entity and basically can legally make up their own rules and regulations, and for the most part are not regulated by many local or state laws.

S.H.I.E.L.D. will not be able to operate under the rules of any HOA, and therefore anyone wishing to purchase a home through S.H.I.E.L.D. if you live in an HOA you will be required to move. Furthermore, we do not purchase any home inside of an HOA.

The American Dream Affordable Homeownership Program is ONLY available through a partnership with S.A.F.E. Housing Union, you MUST be a member of S.A.F.E. Housing Union to be eligible for the program.
